Fantasy Football Week 11 Running Back Rankings

1. Frank Gore (SF) – He should be in for a huge week 11 against a horrible St. Louis run defense. The Rams have given up more rushing TD’s (15) than any other defense in the NFL and they rank 30th in the league allowing 161 ground yards per game. Gore is nursing a neck injury, but he should be good to go on Sunday. Check injury report: neck

2. Brian Westbrook (PHI) – While he has struggled over the last couple of weeks, Westbrook should rebound nicely with an excellent week 11 match up against the Bengals. The Cincinnati run defense ranks 25th in the NFL while giving up 12 rushing TD’s on the season. Westbrook should also prove effective in the Eagles passing game. He is still nursing some nagging injuries, but he will not need to be 100% to run over and around this defense. Check injury report: knee

3. Michael Turner (ATL) – He has yet another favorable match up in week 11 against a very porous Denver run defense. The Broncos give up 146 rushing yards per game and have allowed 11 TD’s via the ground game in 9 games. Turner should have a great game. Check injury report: hand

4. Adrian Peterson (MIN) – After his 4th consecutive 100 plus yard effort in week 10, Peterson is now the NFL’s leading rusher with 1015 ground yards. While he is virtually match up proof at this point, Peterson will have his work cut out for him against a stingy Tampa Bay run defense in week 11. The Bucs give up just under 100 rushing yards per game, but more importantly, they have only allowed 1 rushing TD all season. In spite of the difficult match up, Peterson is on a roll and an obvious must start.

5. Matt Forte (CHI) – As far as fantasy football is concerned, Forte’s new nickname should be Mr. Consistency. He continues to put up solid numbers week in and week out and he does it a little differently every game. Forte should be in for yet another strong fantasy effort in week 11 against the Packers 28th ranked run defense. Green Bay gives up 155 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD per game on average.

Fantasy Football Week 11 Quarterback Rankings

Fantasy Football Week 11 Quarterback Rankings
1. Kurt Warner (ARI) – He is just shredding opposing secondaries on a weekly basis and the next victim is very likely to be a horrible Seattle pass defense in week 11. The Seahawks have allowed 14 passing TD’s on the season in addition to giving up 252 passing yards per game. Warner is a virtual lock for a huge fantasy effort with this match up.

2. Drew Brees (NO) – Aside from the 3 interceptions, Brees put up monster numbers in week 10 with 422 passing yards and 2 TD’s. In his last 2 games, he has thrown for 761 yards and 5 TD’s. Brees is a must start for obvious reasons against Kansas City’s 24th ranked pass defense.

3. Peyton Manning (IND) – He has been nothing short of brilliant in his last 2 starts and the Colts passing game is finally starting to click on a consistent basis. Manning should continue the trend with a favorable week 11 match up against Houston. While the Texans pass defense has not been bad in the passing yards allowed department giving up 198 per game, they have given up an unacceptable number of passing TD’s this season with 15. Manning threw for 247 yards, 2 TD’s and 1 interception against Houston back in week 5. He should be even better this time around at home.

4. Jay Cutler (DEN) – He is coming off of a monster week 10 and has sights set on a repeat performance against a shaky Atlanta pass defense in week 11. While that is unlikely, Cutler should still put up great numbers with this match up. The Falcons secondary has given up 12 passing TD’s on the season and they are allowing 228 yards through the air per game. He is a very strong fantasy play with this match up.

5. Tony Romo (DAL) – He is probably going to be a little rusty after sitting out the last 4 weeks with a broken finger, but if anyone can step right in without missing a beat, it’s Romo. He will also play his first game with Roy Williams at WR which will give him three big play receiving options for the first time since Terry Glenn was a Cowboy in ’06. In spite of a tough match up against a solid Redskins pass defense, we really like Romo’s chances this week given his track record against them. He threw for 300 yards, 3 TD’s, and 1 interception in a week 4 meeting against Washington and he had a 4 TD game against them last year. Check injury report: finger

Fantasy Football Week 11 Wide Receiver Rankings

1. Anquan Boldin (ARI) – Touch down machine. Enough said.

2. Steve Smith (CAR) – We expected Smith to have trouble against Oakland’s lock down CB Nnamdi Asomugha in week 10, but it came as a huge shock to see Smith go without a single catch. After last week’s embarrassment, you can expect to see him go all out in week 11, and the match up couldn’t be much better against Detroit. The Lions rank 29th in the NFL against the pass and they have allowed 15 TD’s through the air in 9 games. Anything less than a monster fantasy effort would be a disappointment. Smith should rebound in a big way.

3. Roddy White (ATL) – White has seen a decrease in his fantasy production in recent weeks as QB Matt Ryan is starting to discover that he actually has other options in the Falcons emerging passing game. Regardless, White remains Ryan’s go to guy and his numbers are still consistently great. He has become one of the most reliable fantasy receivers in the game, if not the most reliable. That said, there should be plenty to around for everyone with a promising week 11 match up against Denver. The Broncos rank just 28th in the NFL against the pass and have allowed 14 passing TD’s on the season. White should come up big again in week 11.

4. Larry Fitzgerald (ARI) – If Fitzgerald doesn’t find the end zone, he typically makes up for it with big reception and yardage totals, and vice versa. Fortunately, a week 11 match up against the Seahawks is favorable for him to come through with the complete package. Seattle has one of the NFL’s worst pass defenses ranking 31st in yards allowed, in addition to giving up 14 TD’s through the air in 9 games. Fitzgerald will have to compete with Anquan Boldin and Steve Breaston for targets which limits his fantasy potential a tad, but there should be plenty to go around against a horrible Seahawks secondary.

5. Brandon Marshall (DEN) – He isn’t quite back to early season form, but it was promising to see Marshall in the end zone for the first time since week 4. The good news is that he stands a good chance to find pay dirt again in week 11 against a shaky Falcons secondary. Atlanta ranks 22nd against the pass, in addition to giving up12 TD’s through the air so far this season. This match up bodes well for Marshall to at least match a successful week 10 effort.
