Brady's Season Over!

Patriots QB Tom Brady left Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs after being hit on his left leg, suffering a season-ending knee injury, according to the NFL Network's Adam Schefter.

Backup Matt Cassel finished the game, leading the Patriots to a 17-10 victory.

So now the hunt is on for Cassel's back-up. It looks like free-agent QB Chris Simms could be the guy. He's scheduled to arrive in New England Monday morning for a workout and physical. If all goes well, Simms could be a Patriot by the end of the day. However, Kansas City and Tennessee, each of whom had quarterbacks suffer significant injuries on Sunday, also have contacted Simms.
