‪Brandon Phillips' Between the Legs Throw is Amazing (VIDEO)‬

We're not sure how we missed this one, but check out this video of Cincy's Brandon Phillips as he bare-hands a bouncer by Houston's Jason Bourgeois and flips the ball between his legs to first base for the out. It reminds us of something Ozzie Smith would have done back in the day. Phillips' amazing feat took place May 3 at Great American Ball Park.

25 Awesome Baseball Pies in the Face (PICS)

Baseball is filled with tradition—the ceremonial first pitch, the seventh inning stretch, and post-game fireworks. Why there are no cheerleaders, we'll never understand. But our favorite baseball tradition has to be the old pie in the face. Sadly, it's rare that players have actual pies cooling in the dugout, so a heaping pile of shaving cream has become the go-to substitute. Usually a player is bestowed a pie during a post-game interview after he hits a walk-off for the win. Other times, guys just randomly smash a pie in their teammate's face. Whatever the reason, we like it. Here's a collection of some our favorite pie-in-the-face moments, along with a video at the bottom to see a masterful pieing in action.
