WEEK 1 TE RANKINGS

1. Antonio Gates(CHI@SD)—River’s favorite target will get his shots at pay dirt
2. Jeremy Shockey(NYG@DAL)—Scored td’s in both games against Dallas in 06’
3. Todd Heap(BAL@CIN)—Should be a difference maker vs. the Bengals
4. Tony Gonzalez(KC@HOU)—The Chiefs need him more now than ever
5. Vernon Davis(ARI@SF)—The best 2 games of his young career came against the Cards, should be money this week
6. Kellen Winslow(PIT@CLE)—We don’t expect a monster game from him, but he will get plenty of opportunities
7. Chris Cooley(MIA@WSH)—A big part of the Skin’s offense, this week will be no different
8. Bo Scaife(TEN@JAC)—Young’s favorite target will have plenty of chances against the Jags
9. Alge Crumpler(ATL@MIN)—Good match up, especially if Harrington uses him as much as Vick did
10. Jason Witten(NYG@DAL)—He’s a first down machine that needs to find his way back to the end zone in 07’
11. Owen Daniels(KC@HOU)—Solid pass catching TE and Schaub will try to get him the ball
12. Heath Miller(PIT@CLE)—His production should increase under a new OC that likes to find the TE
13. Ben Watson(NE@NYJ)—Should see some passes, but with all of Brady’s new weapons, he will get lost in the shuffle
14. Randy McMichael(CAR@STL)—viable weapon if Bulger chooses to use him
15. David Martin(MIA@WSH)—Trent Green loves to use his TE’s, Martin could be a nice surprise
16. Dallas Clark(NO@IND)—Always seems to make a big play, too bad it’s usually the only play he makes
17. L.J. Smith(PHI@GB)—Yet to live up to the hype, but he has a decent match up against the Pack
18. Eric Johnson(NO@IND)—Often injured, but productive TE, gives Brees another target
19. Marcus Pollard(TB@SEA)—With Stevens gone, he is the go to TE, but that accounts for little in Seattle
20. Desmond Clark(CHI@SD)—Grossman may look his way under pressure, but we feel the Charger D will get to Grossman first
21. Zach Miller(DET@OAK)—Rookie will get the start and could be dangerous
22. Daniel Graham(DEN@BUF)—Shanahan rarely uses his TE’s and when he does he tends to use more than 1
23. Mercedes Lewis(TEN@JAC)—This high draft pick from 06’ gets his chance to shine
24. Dan Campbell(DET@OAK)—Rarely used and we doubt he will be against Oakland
25. Chris Baker(NE@NYJ)—Only 2 catches for 12 yards in 2 games vs. the Pats last season
